Toothaches occur when the extremely sensitive central portion of the tooth, called the pulp, becomes inflamed. This can happen for a variety of reasons: cavities, a blow to the tooth, or an infection of the gums.

Following tip to get recover from relief :

  • Take a painkiller: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as Aspirin and Ibuprofen, which provide quick, effective relief for most minor toothaches. Having a throbbing tooth can impede your ability to eat, speak, and get to sleep. It’s also more difficult to treat the toothache when you’re in pain, so getting some relief from an over-the-counter pain medicine can help. Use only the recommended dosage printed on the package, or the dosage recommended by your doctor. Tylenol is another effective over-the-counter painkiller.
  • Apply a cold compress. Fill a food storage bag with ice, cover it with a thin cloth or paper towel, and apply it directly to the tooth or the cheek area just outside the tooth. The cold temperature will help ease the pain. Do not apply the ice directly to the tooth. This will increase the pain, especially since teeth inflamed by toothaches are often quite sensitive to hot or cold temperatures.
  • Numb the area. Buy an over-the-counter tooth and gum numbing gel to help ease the throbbing for a few hours. These gels are applied directly to the affected area and usually work for several hours.
  • Clean your mouth thoroughly. Sometimes toothaches are caused by small pieces of food that have gotten lodged in the tooth and are exacerbating the pain of cavities or gingivitis. When this is the case, thoroughly cleaning your mouth can go a long way toward eliminating the pain and making the problem go away. Floss around the tooth. Make sure the floss goes up to your gums. Sweep it back and forth across the tooth so that it picks up any particles that have lodged there. Brush the area. If your ache is caused by gingivitis, this is one of the best ways to ease the pain. Brush your teeth for several minutes, concentrating on the painful area. Keep brushing until the area no longer feels as sensitive. Use a rinse. Finish the cleaning by using mouthwash to rinse away dislodged particles. Keep it up. Use this routine twice a day, every day, and keep using it after the pain subsides.
  • Use a sea salt: A toothache caused by a blow to the tooth or a mild infection might go away on its own. To help it along, make a rinse with warm water and a spoonful of sea salt. When the salt dissolves, gargle the water in your mouth, making sure it splashes around the affected area. Repeat several times daily until the pain subsides.
  • Apply clove oil. This is a home remedy that is said to cure or at least ease the pain of a toothache until it goes away on its own. Rub a few drops on the affected tooth several times daily until the ache goes away. Clove oil can be found at most drug stores.
  • Try hard liquor. This time-worn home remedy eases the pain of a toothache, but it probably won’t cure it. Still, it’s a useful trick when the ache is caused by a blow or a mild infection that will go away after a few days. Pour some whisky or vodka on a cotton ball and apply it to the affected tooth.
  • Clean with hydrogen peroxide. This procedure will clean the area, and can help to ease the pain. Be sure to rinse your mouth with water, and absolutely refrain from swallowing the peroxide. Dip a Q-tip in hydrogen-peroxide, ensuring saturation. Apply the peroxide liberally to the affected area Repeat. Try an acupressure technique to stop tooth pain fast. With your thumb, press the point on the back of your other hand where the base of your thumb and your index finger meet. Apply pressure for about two minutes. This helps trigger the release of endorphins, the brain’s feel-good hormones. Oil Pulling. Swish 1 tbsp of coconut oil in your mouth for 15-20 minutes. There are claims that this reduces the amount to harmful bacteria in the mouth. When you swish the oil, the bacteria get ‘stuck’ in the oil. This is how the bacteria, as well as plaque caused by bacteria is removed. After 15-20 minutes spit out the oil into a garbage can. Do not swallow it…you will be swallowing the bacteria in the oil if you swallow it. You also should not put oil in the drain, as it can harden and cause it to clog.
  • Know when to see the doctor. If the toothache is caused by a major infection or tooth decay, it won’t go away on its own. You should see a doctor or dentist if you experience the following symptoms along with the toothache: (1) A fever and chills. This could be a sign that the infection is serious. (2) Again, you don’t want to risk letting a bad infection get worse. (3)Pain that grows worse and won’t go away. You could have a cavity that get worse after every meal. (4)The pain is in a wisdom tooth. Many people have to get their wisdom teeth removed if the teeth grow in at an angle that crowds the mouth. (5)You have trouble swallowing or breathing.
  • Get a filling. If you have a cavity that is exposing the nerves of your teeth, leading to pain, the dentist may decide to put in a filling to protect the nerves from getting overstimulated.[4]
  • Get a root canal. If you have a dental abscess, which happens when the pulp of the tooth gets infected, a root canal will be performed. The dentist cleans the inside of the tooth to get rid of the infection. Since this procedure is painful, the mouth is numbed with local anesthesia beforehand.
  • Get a tooth extraction. In some cases the tooth is beyond repair, and the best course is to get it taken out. In the case of baby teeth, an extraction is almost always performed, since the teeth are going to fall out eventually anyway. Adults who get an extraction often get dentures or veneers to make up for the lost tooth. In the case of wisdom teeth, tooth extraction is almost always performed. Since these teeth are so large, patients are often put under general anesthesia; recovery takes a week or so.
  • Tips: (1) Brush your teeth more often to keep your mouth and teeth healthy and prevent tooth ache.(2)Try not to eat hard food (apples, nuts, etc ) when suffering from tooth ache.(3) You can apparently cure a toothache with 100% pure vanilla extract. It really helps; just rub it in on the tooth and surrounding gums. (4) When cleaning your teeth use your mouth wash before you brush your teeth not after is the advice offered by some to prevent tooth ache.(5)Pierce an Advil liquid capsule and squeeze a little out onto a cotton bud then put it on the hole in tooth. It can provide instant relief. The taste isn’t the best but it’s 100% better than the pain. (6) Floss your teeth daily to help prevent, not cure, tooth ache. (7)Try ginger as this can kill the pain, if not cure, tooth ache. A cup of ginger tea every few hours could help.(8) Go to the dentist, whether you like them or not, it’s the best place to go. (9) Put a cold ice package on your tooth, some warn against a warm compress to relief tooth ache.(10) Gargle with Listerine or another mouthwash for 19 minutes, then apply a cloth externally to the affected area, not a cure of course, but may provide relief.

Having a hectic schedule has become the default way of life for many of us and especially for those working in metropolitan and highly industrialized cities. The stores of fast foods and their attractive advertisements and offers don’t even let us think twice before making a call ( or booking online )and placing an order to them happily .

Father of the Nation (India) Mr. M. K Gandhi says “It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver. Thus we must feel that, it’s strange that in this busy schedule, we loose our health to gain wealth and again invest wealth to gain the health.

Thus the idea of “Healthy mind and healthy body” is somewhere kept aside while we go for giving preference to fast foods. 1.Never skip your Breakfast: This may feel heard during your childhood days but I strongly agree with it, even now with these words. As due to busy morning hours, generally we skip our breakfast. As in you know that in summers we have long days and short nights , so to cover the long day it’s really healthy to have something fresh in our breakfast. If in too much hurry , carry it with you and finish it ASAP( as soon as possible ).

Having a healthy breakfast is too much important for sustaining energy levels and aiding in blood sugar management. Your Breakfast must be :

  • high in complex carbohydrates (oatmeal, cereals, fruits, vegetables)
  • high in fiber (whole grain cereals , some fibre containing fruits )
  • rich in protein (Milk (try soya milk if feel good and in your budget rest simple is also good), nuts, yogurt, eggs)

The best mix will be to have a glass of milk or try the eggs or even fruits . If you like milk you can try oatmeal. Avoid Oily food atleast in breakfast as in morning body needs fresh food to recharge the body and will surely show its result over your work .

  1. Manage proper intake of water : You make intake liquid in form of soft drink , lassi , tea/coffee and other beverages but there is no replacement to water. During summer and winter both our body needs proper intake of water and issue of dehydration occurs although in winter due to cold weather we are unable to feel it .
  2. Fitness Workout : Every engine needs greasing and maintenance. So our body alfoots atworkso acts as engine and we need to care its parts and manage it .It’s not mandatory to join a gym and workout there to have a healthy body . You can even manage with simple workout , what’s necessary is sweating out of body be it by running a definite distance or even have a 15-20 minutes proper walk in nearby park( Starting with slower speed and then increasing your speed accordingly ) . Those working in field have physical workouts but those packed in offices and working over laptops/desktops etc gets mental fatigue and even irritation after a definite time period. They should also try to have YOGA or Meditation or any other ways to keep their mind calm.
  3. Take proper sleep: working for long hours and especially in midnight , may lead to insomnia ( sleep disorder), making dark circles under the eye and many other such which may somehow let you look aged , feel irritated etc. So take proper sleep and DON’T COMPROMISE YOUR SLEEPING HOURS OR EVEN DON’T EXCHANGE IT WITH YOUR WORK HOURS.
  4. Stay Organized: Busy schedules may lead to pile up files on your desk of office going people, pending homework for students and work burden for housewives. Thus stay tuned in with your works , schedule them strategically . Take not only breakfast but also your lunch and dinner on time and not too late . Plan everything and try to have things in a disciplined manner.

This will surely somehow if not totally help you to manage your busy work schedules and turn those disliking your schedules to feel a change in. This is not only for others but surely you will also feel a change inside you . So don’t wait for the moment to start, lets begin now.

Wish you a healthy and successful life .
