Hey Friends ,

It’s really a nice experience to share with you the EXPLOSIVE and REPULSIVE experiences ( as such was the faces of candidates in the examination hall ) of my friends who attended the SBI (Pre ) P. O Exams (held on 20 & 21 June , 2015 )which it first time conducted in a new format , testing the speed, time management  and accuracy in the DEADLINE of 1 HOUR ( which used to be 2 Hours earlier ).

According to them the gossip in whole examination hall after the examination ended was over the less time and the strategies and failure to handle the examination pressure .

To the surprise my friends believe me , i would tell you that, if you are approaching to the hall WITHOUT A STRATEGY , YOU WILL BE AT GREAT LOSS . So i planned to write to you all to have a better planned strategy .

sbi po pre 2015

Examination Pattern of the SBI PO Preliminary Exam :
a) Reasoning Ability                 :         35 Questions
b) Quantitative Aptitude         :         35 Questions
c) English                                    :         30 Questions

This SBI PO(Pre) examination paper contained 100 questions in total covering the sections – Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language. The Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude consists of 35 questions each, while the English Language section had 30 questions only.

Points to care :  Each question had 5 options. There was negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question for all the sections. The exam was of one hour only.

Examination was conducted in 4 Slots in a day : 9-10 AM, 11.30-12.30 PM, 2-3 PM, 4.30-5.30 PM

Examination Review :

Although candidates had various weak and strong sections  as per  their capabilities . So if you somehow feel that “I AM WEAK IN QUANT or I AM WEAK IN ENGLISH or I AM WEAK IN REASONING “ am sure you must plan your strategy well  to clear the paper and appear successfully for the mains to be conducted in first week of August , 2015 .

Strategy :

if you have gone through the previous records of cut offs in SBI exam , especially in PRE , section wise it’s never too more than 13-15 in general (as it was 13 out of 50 marks in every section for the general category and 10 Marks for the OBC/SC/ST Category )

Strategy to clear SBI PO (Pre ) examination :

Quantitative aptitude : if this section is weak, you need to devote around 20-25 Minutes ( Best Attempt 12-16 )

What to focus/solve : approximate values, DI ( Don’t mess if more Calculative ), Quadratic Equation, series, age, SI-CI

Reasoning :If this section is weak , you need to devote around 20 Minutes ( Best Attempt 15-19 )

What to focus/Solve :  Syllogism, inequalities, direction, puzzle, input-output, coding -decoding

English : If this is your weak Section , you need to devote 15-20 Minutes ( Best Attempt 10-15 )

What to focus/Solve : cloze -test, error, fill ups, paragraph/jumbled sentences ( whatever suits you best )

You can manage your timings with 20-25 on weak sections and 15 Minutes for easy one for you .

As still 3 more weeks are left for the candles to be burnt at night or prepare startegically and come out with flying colors . This was the best strategy which if followed will surely assist you to clear the examination .

I will soon be updating you with other examination preparation strategies . Would love to hear your experience  and wish all the candidates BEST OF LUCK 🙂

Have a nice time .
